Technical features and application range :

HFC4GA1-C‌: This engine is suitable for trucks, adopting turbocharged intercooledGR technology, with high fuel economy and environmental protection performance‌ . ‌

CA4GA1‌: This engine is used in the Xiaoli N sedans produced by Tianjin FAW Xiaoli Automobile Co., Ltd. It adopts intelligent variable intake camshaft timing VCT-i technology, plastic intake manifold, throttle and other advanced technologies, with power performance reaching international medium and high level, and emissions reaching national III/IV standards‌


 The main features of the 4GA1 engine include: 

  1. Technical Characteristics: The 4GA1 engine employs intelligent variable intakeshaft timing VCT-i technology, which can flexibly adjust the valve overlap angle based on engine speed, enhancing valve efficiency, thereby increasing low-speed torque while reducing consumption and emissions. Additionally, the engine is equipped with advanced technologies such as a plastic intake manifold, no-return system, electronic throttle, and direct ignition electronic control-point fuel injection system.

  2. Lightweight Design: The cylinder head and side cover of the 4GA1 engine are made of magnesium aluminum alloy, making it approximately20 kilograms lighter than engines of the same displacement. The intake manifold is made of silicone rubber synthetic plastic, with a smooth inner wall that enhances intake efficiency; exhaust pipe is made of stainless steel, reducing exhaust resistance.

  3. Fuel Economy and Environmental Performance: The fuel consumption of this engine is below the national second stage standard limit and its emission level meets the national III/IV standards. Its silent timing chain design achieves lifetime maintenance-free, high reliability, and quick response.

  4. Power Performance: maximum power of the 4GA1 engine is 67kW/6000rpm, and the maximum torque is 120Nm4400rpm, with specific power and specific torque reaching 50kW/L and 90Nm/L respectively, achieving international mid-high level
